OUR STORY
IT all started when...
We met in 2012, introduced by friends starting a music club at our university. Both enthusiastic about music, we ended up becoming co-founders. We spent many months getting to know each other while planning events, running open mics, and passionately discussing the future of the club.
What started out as a wonderful friendship eventually evolved into more and more, until Marie got annoyed and told Tom she was getting mixed signals. (Tom thought his signals were perfectly unmixed). So, dressed in Halloween costumes (Tom a cowboy, Marie a pirate), we shared our first kiss sitting on the hood of Tom's jeep overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Since then we've spent over 10 years together, growing up and learning about life. We're so excited to make it official with all of our loved ones (and the State of Oregon) and to share this moment of our lives with you all.

Weather
The wedding will be primarily in an outdoor garden space, but there will be an air-conditioned indoor area and the only direct sun will be in the beginning of the event. Expect highs in the 80° and lows in the high 60°s during your stay.
Things To Do
Portland in the summer is a magical place.
We hope you'll spend some time exploring while you're here. We recommend trying all the amazing food, seeing the fun local attractions, and taking in all the beautiful natural greenery. Here is a map of some of our favorite places:
REGISTRY
We have had a lot of time to set up our home together and have much of what we need already, so please do not feel obligated to buy us anything.
In lieu of gifts, we would LOVE a physical card from you with any life/marriage advice, anecdotes, or other wisdom you'd like to share. (We'll have a mailbox at the wedding).
If you still feel inclined to get us something, we have a few items on a registry below that we would love -- mostly funds for our honeymoon and a "college fund" for our sweet puppy Clooney.
